Born in North Africa and following an almost nomadic period living on two different continents, Fatima El Baz has now settled in a small Leicestershire village with her husband and two children.
As a self-taught artist, Fatima’s diverse cultural background is evident in her paintings.
Working predominantly in acrylics & using a vibrant palette evocative of her native Morocco, Fatima creates dramatic abstract art that reflects her passion for life.
Allowing each piece to develop spontaneously and using intense shades combined with fluid, organic shapes she produces work that is a definite talking point.
