biography
I was born in Morocco and spent periods of my life in
Germany, Uganda and Kenya, before settling in Britain.
I now live in the Leicestershire countryside with my husband and two children.
I try to divide my time between painting and the children - I'm sure you can guess what wins.
about my art
My abstract and semi-abstract paintings are mainly created using acrylic paint.
Many of the paintings have no conscious theme but reflect a myriad of sources of inspiration
including the colours and shapes of Africa.I sit and paint, and wait to see what comes out.
While there may be no conscious theme to many of the paintings,
people see a range of things in them, like volcanoes, sea creatures and even some things we can't mention here!
exhibitions
I have held exhibitions in Brighton, Cardiff, Nottingham and London,
and have sold paintings in Britain and Germany.
